İlhan Durgut was born in 1993 in Yozgat. He started his ballet education at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory in 2004. In 2011, he represented our country at Ballet Festivals between Belarus-Minsk and Kazakhstan-Almaty schools. He graduated with honors from Hacettepe University State Conservatory in 2015. Since 2011, he has been working as a guest artist at Ankara State Opera and Ballet. He continues to work in the same position. In 2015, he danced at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, and later at the Ballet Stars Gala Night organized by the Samsun State Opera and Ballet. In 2015, he represented our country at the Turkish Opera and Ballet Stars Night organized at the Antalya Aspendos. In 2016, he danced at the Gala Night of the Mersin Music Festival. In 2019, he danced in the performances of 'Danzon' and 'Vivaldi Four Seasons' with the Antalya State Opera and Ballet, and went on tour to the TRNC with the same company. In the same year, he danced at the International Bodrum Ballet Festival with the Antalya Ballet in the piece 'Scheherazade'. In 2023, he danced in the role of 'Solor' in La Bayadere at the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Atatürk Cultural Center with special guest Petra Conti.
AWARDS:
2015: Won the Gold Medal by placing 1st in the International Italy Spoleto Ballet Competition.
2014: Won the Silver Medal by placing 2nd in the International Istanbul Ballet Competition.
2014: Won a diploma as a finalist in the Grand Prix of Siberia Krasnoyarsk Ballet Competition.
