He was born in Izmir in 1989. He started his violin education at a young age with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Melek Göküstün.
In 2008, he won first place in the competition organized by IKSEV and received training at the 'SienaJazz' festival in Siena, Italy, with a talent scholarship. After the final concert at the end of his training, he received an outstanding achievement scholarship from SienaJazz. During the festival, he studied Mozart with Italian violinist Felice Cusano.
In the same year, he passed the exams within the scope of the Erasmus Student Exchange Project at Anadolu University State Conservatory and was entitled to study at 'Conservatorio F.A.BONPORTI' in Trento, Italy. He started working with Italy's successful violin teacher and violin soloist Prof. Mriam Dal Don.
In 2009, he served as principal violinist at the concert given within the scope of 'Festa della Primavera' in the presence of Italian President Georgio Napolitano.
In the same year, the 'La Luce dei Bambini' concert held in the Vatican was hosted by Pope Benedict XVI. In addition to Benedict, he took part in the concert given to cardinals and statesmen from all over the world.
He came first in the department in the talent exam he took and continued his education by receiving the Trento Alto Adige Autonomous Region 'Outstanding Achievement Undergraduate Scholarship'.
In the same year, he was appointed second violin group conductor with Ensemble Zandonai under the direction of Maestro Giancarlo Guarino.
On January 15, 2010, he performed Yalçın Tura's '3 Waltz' in Italy. He played within the scope of the international 'XIII.MONDI SONORI - TRENTO' festival and received great acclaim.
He continued his undergraduate education, which he completed with the Order of High Achievement, in the 'Operatic / Symphonic Orchestra Group Conducting Violin Performance Master's Degree' department.
He took part as principal violinist in Anzoletti's opera 'La fine di Mozart', which had its World Premiere on March 25, 2010.
He won the 9th National 'Luigi Zanuccoli' competition and gave concerts in Europe as a soloist within the scope of the competition.
In 2012, he entered the 'Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori di Musica' auditions held in Rome and qualified among 240 violinists and was entitled to join the orchestra.
In the same year, he became the second violin group conductor of the 'Orchestra di Teatro del'Opera di Roma' academy, where he passed the violin audition in the history of the orchestra he nominated as the 'first Turkish'. He worked and performed with numerous famous conductors such as Maestro Riccardo Muti within the Rome Opera Academy and Teatro Opera di Roma.
He was entitled to be a soloist in the 2012 auditions for the 'Concerto di Natale' (Christmas Concert), which became a tradition after the Ecumenical Council held in Trento in the '16th century', and gave a concert in the main church. The concert performance was highly appreciated and he appeared in the L'adige newspaper.
Between 2008 and 2014, he performed concerts as principal violinist and soloist with Orchestra Giovanile Trentina in many European cultural capitals, especially Prague and Budapest.
He performed Caine's new works at the workshop held by 'Grammy award-winning Uri Caine', which Cagil attended with the duo he founded, 'Mamma la Turchi'. He was the principal violinist of the orchestra established for the same project.
In 2013, Çağıl Çap served as the second violin group conductor in the Oman performances of the 'Orchestra Giovanile di Teatro del'Opera di Roma', which was invited by the Sultan of Oman, Sultan Qaboos bin Seyd El Ebu Seyd.
He continued to work as head of second violins with the same orchestra in the concert held at the 'Camera dei Deputati' (Italian House of Representatives) and in the Terme di Cracalla 2013 concerts.
In his Master degree recital program, which he graduated with the Order of High Honor in 2014, he chose 'Nationalism' as his thesis topic and in the programs of the recitals he gave consecutively; He performed the works of Manuel de Falla, Ernst Bloch, Aram Kaçhaturyan and Bela Bartok. In the same recital, he introduced Fazıl Say's violin and piano sonata in Trento for the first time.
In 2016, in order to improve Italy-Iran relations, he was invited by the 'World Youth Orchestra' established under the Italian ministry of culture and attended the concerts in Iran/Tehran.
He attended masterclasses with artists especially Miriam Dal Don, Dejan Bogdanovic, Felice Cusano, Janine Jansen, Patricia Kopatcinskaja, Uri Cane, Dora Schwarzberg, Salvatore Accardo, Gabriele Piernunzi etc..
The artist had the opportunity to work in Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, Orchestra Nazionale di Italia, Arena di Verona, Enseble Zandonai, Orchestra Giovanile Trentina, Orchestra Boheme and many other important italian orchestras.
He gave concerts and performances under the conduct of Maestro Muti, Maestro Paszkowski, Maestro Dudamel, Maestro Guarino, Maestro Carella, Maestro Fogliani, Maestro Lombana, Maestro Guiranna, Maestro Fuoli, Maestro Torboli, Maestro Sciuotto and many other significant conductors.
The artist, who returned to Turkey in 2015, took part in many orchestras in the country, especially like the Fazıl Say Festival Orchestra, Olten philharmonic etc.
He has been working as an orchestra violinist within Mersin State Opera and Ballet since February 2015.
