She was born in Istanbul. She started her musical studies at the age of 8 by taking private piano lessons. In 1980, she entered the violin department of Ankara State Conservatory and started her education life as a student of Prof. Nuri Çeken. During her education,she continued her violin studies with Leda Cenaz, Reyyan Yücelen, Menyhert Konstantin and Server Ganiev. In 1993, she passed the exam held by the Mersin State Opera and Ballet and started her career as a violinist. Since then, she has been working as a violinist in the Mersin State Opera and Ballet. She has taken part in all the works staged so far.
