BAŞAK TANİŞ
Born in İstanbul. She started singing at the age of 6 in İDOB Children's Choir. Then she attended İDSO Children's Choir and TRT İstanbul Youth Choir mastered by Gökçen Koray . She participated many concerts, competitions, TV shootings and radio recordings as a member of those choirs. In 2003 she graduated from Yeditepe University with a high honors degree in Radio-TV-Cinema. In 2005 she received her ELT certificate from Marmara University. Between 2005-2011 she worked as a producer in TRT Radio 3 and prepared many opera and choral music programmes. She studied with Zafer Kayaokay and Prof. Mesut İktu during her postgraduate study and in 2011 she received her Master of Arts Degree in Stage Directing from Kültür University . She´s been singing in İstanbul Symphony Choir since 2012. Başak Taniş is also one of the founder members of Radio Producers Platform. Since 2004 she has been working as stage manager and assitant director in İstanbul State Opera and Ballet.
