IŞIK NOYAN
Born in İstanbul. Graduated from Faculty of Language and History-Geography's French Language and Literature and Drama Departments. She's drafted her postgraduate thesis on French Literature in Paris where he studied Dramaturgy between 1972-75. After returned to her homeland, she wrote introducing articles and criticism on drama to the newspapers and magazines of that period. Between 1975-1988 she worked at Ankara State Opera and Ballet
and therefore she did interpretership to the guest foreign stage directors. She's been charged with a duty as Manager of External and Public Relations by the enterprise. Between 1990-2007 she worked at İstanbul State Opera and Ballet. As part of her translation works, she translated Jean-Paul Sartre's complete theatrical plays into Turkish. Aside from representation, libretto,TV movie and documentary translations, she also wrote plays for children and original ballet librettos.
