Music Backgroumd
I began my first viola studies in 1998 as a student of Prof. Çetin AYDAR at Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory. I gave many concerts during my education. I attended the workshops of Daniel RUBINSTEIN, Ellen JEWITT, State Artist Ruşen GÜNEŞ and Prof. Çetin AYDAR. I took part as a supporting artist in Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra, Dokuz Eylül Symphony Orchestra, Ministry of Culture Turkish World Music and Dance Ensemble, Eskişehir Municipal Symphony Orchestra, Olten Philharmonic Orchestra and Yaşar University Chamber Orchestra. As one of the students selected from our school in 2008, I enjoyed the experience of playing in the Bremen Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2009, I won the auditions for the National Youth Symphony Orchestra
During my education, I studied chamber music with Prof. Tahir SÜMER. During my education period, I took part in various activities inside and outside the school, such as the Concerto Barocco Chamber Orchestra. Since 1998 I have continued my studies with Prof. Çetin AYDAR, and I graduated from Dokuz Eylül University State Conservatory, String Instruments Viola department, with high honors in 2009. I have worked with conductors such as Gürer AYKAL and Tadeusz STRUGALA. After working as a contracted viola artist at Mersin State Opera and Ballet between 2012 and 2022, I have been continuing to work as a staff viola artist at the same institution since the beginning of 2023. I have actively participated in tours and festivals at home and abroad within the Mersin State Opera and Ballet so far. Having passed the music sciences master's exam at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts in 2023, I am currently continuing my education in the field of musicology. In addition to that, I am studying sociology at the Open Education Faculty of Anadolu University.
