KANAME NOI

Kaname Noi, born on April 29, 2000, is a Japanese ballet dancer. Standing at 171 cm tall and weighing 62 kg, he has dedicated his life to the art of ballet.
Noi's journey began in 2005 at the Ehime Ballet Academy in Japan. His passion for dance led him to the Russian National Novosibirsk Ballet College in 2019. Along the way, he honed his skills during the Intensive Summer Program at the Moscow State Academy of Choreography (Bolshoi Ballet Academy) in 2016. Later, in 2021, he continued his training at the Saint Petersburg Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre and the Tajik National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. As of 2023, Noi has found his artistic home at the Antalya State Opera and Ballet.
In his professional career, Kaname Noi has performed various significant roles. In 2024, he performed in the ballet 'Giselle' and in the Russian dance segment of 'The Nutcracker' during the 2023-2024 season. During the 2022-2023 season, he played the roles of Cipollino in the ballet 'Cipollino,' the teacher, Dragonfly, and Friends of the Prince (soloist) in 'Cinderella.' Additionally, he appeared as Le Toreador in 'Carmen Suite.' From 2021 to 2023, he portrayed Harlequin, Nutcracker, and Chinese roles in 'The Nutcracker.' In 2022, he took on the role of Ali in 'Le Corsaire' and performed various variations from 'Walpurgis Night'. In 2021, he performed a pas de deux from 'Flames of Paris,' participated in the Gala Concert Krakowiak, and performed in the ballet 'The Fountain of Bakhchisarai.' He worked as a principal soloist at the Tajik National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, collaborating with artistic director Farukh Ruzimatov and choreographer Alexander Bakhman.
Kaname Noi has also achieved success in competitions. In 2019, he was accepted to the Russian National Novosibirsk Ballet College at the S&H competition in Tokyo. In 2018, he won third place and the special jury prize in the senior category at the Japan Ballet Competition in Hyogo. In 2017, he was a finalist at the Japan Grand Prix and a semi-finalist at the All Japan Ballet Competition. That same year, he placed fourth in the senior category at the Japan Ballet Competition in Kagawa and secured second place at the NBA Junior Ballet Competition in Hiroshima.
